ZAKIT is an independent stain rescue platform. It is operated by Luniva Science, which acts as the data controller for information handled through zakit.ai.

Your stain description and the fabric, colour, age and prior-treatment choices you make are sent to our servers so a rescue plan can be produced and returned to you. They are used for that purpose only. They are not sold, not used for advertising, and not attached to an identity.

If you add a photo, it is sent once to an AI service so the visible mark and material can be described, and it is discarded straight afterwards. Photos are never stored on our servers, never added to a profile, and never used to train models. Only the short text description of what was visible is used to build your plan.

Please avoid photographing people, documents or anything else you would not want read by an automated service.

Plans you save are kept in your browser's storage on that device. They never reach our servers, they are not synced between devices, and clearing your browsing data removes them. You can delete any saved plan from your saved plans at any time.

If you send a partner enquiry from the business page, we store the business name, contact name, email address, website, business type, volume and message you provide so we can reply. It is used for that correspondence only and is kept until it is no longer needed for it.

ZAKIT sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site tracking. The storage it uses is the local storage that holds your saved plans, which stays on your device.

A small number of providers process data on our behalf: our hosting and database provider, and the AI service used to read photos and help generate plans. They act on our instructions and may process data outside the UK and EEA, under the safeguards required by UK and EU data protection law.

Laundry and care businesses can embed ZAKIT. Inside their site, ZAKIT receives only what you enter into the rescue flow. That business does not receive your description unless it operates the surrounding page and you also submit it to them, and their own privacy policy covers their service.

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Because the rescue flow is not tied to an account, the information we can trace to you is normally limited to a business enquiry you have sent. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

ZAKIT is intended for adults and is not directed at children.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and material changes will be flagged on the site.
